You Little Devil: Web Devil Glitch Fixed

· by Kyle D\'Addario · News

Fresh on the heels of releasing version 5.3, Chaotic Software has updated their application for viewing entire Web sites offline, Web Devil, to version 5.3.1. The update fixes a bug in the previous version that limited users to the number of sites they could download. According to Chaotic Software:

Chaotic Software just released the Web Devil 5.3.1 to fix problems with name and size filters and duplicate downloads.

Web Devil 5.3.1 change history:

  • Fixed problems when using name filters where it would allow too many or too few URLs.
  • Fixed problems with URLs containing anchors being downloaded multiple times.

Web Devil is a tool for downloading web sites for offline browsing, extracting web site images, backgrounds, HTML, JavaScript, Shockwave, etc., helping to maintain web sites for content authors, and more. It also has filtering capabilities, so it only downloads what you want, and has a simple to use interface. Just enter a URL and it downloads with a single click.

Web Devil is available for US$34.95. You can find more information at the Chaotic Software Web site.
