Zoo Tycoon Goes Gold, Includes National Geographic DVD

November 9th, 2005 at 2:00 PM - Games by Brad Cook

A little more than a week after first announcing its plans to publish the game, MacSoft said on Thursday that Zoo Tycoon 2 has gone gold and will be shipping later this month. It includes a bonus DVD that features film clips and trivia from National Geographicis Totally Wild series.

This sequel to the original Zoo Tycoon, which was published by Aspyr Media, offers not only a first-person view that enables gamers to get close to 3D models of the animals but also new building tools and objects, photo mode options, a zoom mode, new ways to play zookeeper and more.

Pricing is US$39.99. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2.8, a G4 800MHz processor, 256MB RAM and 32MB Video RAM.
