Adium 1.4 beta Adds Twitter, IRC Support

· by · Product News

The popular online chat client Adium will be getting Twitter and IRC support, and users can start testing those features out in the Adium 1.4 public beta. Tiger users, however, can't join in on the fun since the 1.4 beta requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher.

The public beta also added the ability to include contacts in more than one group, added support for contact filtering in all window styles, lets users set different styles for group chats, improved logging performance, enhanced support for several online chat services, and more.

Adium 1.4 beta is free and available for download at the Adium beta Web site.
