Version 1.2 added the ability to display video through Apple’s VGA Dock adapter for the iPad, and added an in-app purchase option to enable layer support. Users can re-order layers, hide layers and change layer opacity, as well as rotate and scale layers.

The update also improved zoom and pan performance, added the ability to set the tool bar on the left or right, and improved stroke smoothing.

Adobe Ideas 1.2 is free and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store. Layers support is available as an in-app purchase for US$4.99.
