Adobe posted release candidate versions of Lightroom 3.4 and Camera Raw 6.4 on its Adobe Labs Web site on Friday. The updated versions of the photographic tools added support for seven new digital cameras and addressed several bugs.
New cameras supported by the update include:
- Canon EOS 600D (Rebel T3i/Kiss X5)
- Canon EOS 1100D (Rebel T3/Kiss X50)
- Hasselblad H4D-40
- Olympus E-PL1s
- Olympus E-PL2
- Olympus XZ-1
- Samsung NX11
The updates also improve lens correction profiles introduced in Lightroom 3.3 and Camera Raw 6.3, added new lens profiles for correcting distortion and chromatic aberration, and more.
Since these updates are release candidates, they should be treated as beta even though there is a high likelihood that they will also be the shipping versions of the update. The release candidates for Lightroom 3.4 and Camera Raw 6.4 are available for download at the Adobe Labs Web site.
