Adobe Rolls Out Camera Raw 5.5 Release Candidate

· by · Product News

Adobe announced the immediate availability of release candidate versions of Photoshop Camera Raw 5.5 and DNG Converter 5.5 on Thursday. The releases are near complete versions of the updates, and add support for new camera models.

The updates added support for the Nikon D300s, Nikon D3000, Olympus E-P1 and Panasonic DMC-FZ35 cameras, and corrected a demosaic algorithm issue related to Bayer sensor cameras with unequal green response.

Photoshop Camera Raw 5.5 requires Photoshop CS4. The Camera Raw and DNG Converter updates are available as free downloads at the Adobe Labs Web site.
