Adonit, Evernote Intro Higher Precision Jot Script 2 iPad Stylus

Adonit and Evernote introduced the new Jot Script 2 Evernote Edition pressure sensitive stylus on Tuesday with improved precision and a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts through up to 20 hours of use. The new stylus also includes six months of Evernote Premium, and better support for Evernote's Penultimate app for the iPad.

The Jot Script 2's built-in lithium-ion batter charges in about 45 minutes and sports a thinner body compared to the original Jot Script. Like other styluses from Adonit, the Jot Script 2 uses a USB adapter for recharging.

The stylus uses an updated version of Adonit's Pixelpoint technology for faster stroke tracking and smoother line rendering, as well as lower latency when writing or drawing. Pairing with apps has been improved, too.

The Jot Script 2 Evernote Edition is priced at US$74.95 and is available now through the Evernote Market. Penultimate is a free download at Apple's App Store, and the six free months of Evernote Premium is worth $30.
