Angry Birds Space Adds Curiosity Mars Rover Levels

Rovio rolled out an update for Angry Birds Space that added levels on Mars with the Curiosity rover. Space pigs have stolen Curiosity in the new levels, and it’s up to players to save the rover and their eggs.

The Angry Birds Space 1.3 update added 20 Mars levels with explosive volcanoes and fire asteroids, includes a new astronaut pig, and has three hidden rovers that unlock bonus levels. The game also gives players info about NASA’s Curiosity rover mission.

Angry Birds Space for the iPhone and iPod touch is priced at US$0.99, and Angry Birds Space HD for the iPad costs $2.99. Both are available through Apple’s iTunes-based App Store, and the updates are free.
