Apple released Aperture 3.5.1 on late on Thursday with with a fix for issues related to face detection overlays. Aperture is Apple's pro level photo management and editing application for the Mac.

Along with face detection fixes, the version 3.5.1 update also corrected a problem with temperature and tint white balance, fixed a problem with adding metadata when arrowing between photos, and improved stability.

Aperture is priced at US$79.99 and is available at Apple's Mac App Store. The update is free for version 3 users.
