Aperture Update Adds iLife 11 Support, More

Apple released Aperture 3.1 late on Wednesday following the introduction of iLife ‘11 and new MacBook Air models. The update for the professional photo management and editing application for the Mac added compatibility with iLife ‘11 along with several other improvements.

Version 3.1 also improved face recognition, slideshows, image rendering, metadata management, image importing, camera tethering, red eye correction, and more. Along with the extensive list of improvements, the update also fixed several bugs.

Aperture 3.1 is priced at US$199. The update is free for version 3 users and is available for download at the Apple Support Web site or via the Software Update application.
