Apple Store for iPhone gets Gift Card, Siri Support

Apple released an updated version of its Apple Store app for the iPhone and iPod touch late on Wednesday. The updated version added support for buying gift cards, and for finding products through Siri searches.

Along with support for buying gift cards, can email Apple Store gift cards to other people, and iOS 6 users can display gift cards in Pass Book.

Apple Store is Apple's iOS app for finding and purchasing products from the company. Users can browse products, buy items for delivery, make in-store purchases, and set up Genius Bar appointments, too.

The Apple Store app is free and is available at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
