Apple Black Friday Deals Include Gift Cards for Macs, iPhones, More

Apple's Black Friday deals are out, and this year the iPhone, iPad and Mac maker is sticking with gift cards as incentives to buy — a plan the company first used last year. This year, however, those gift card incentives are limited Apple's own products, including Beats headphones.

Buying an iMac, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Pro with Retina display will get you a US$100 iTunes Store gift card. An iPad mini, iPad mini 2 or 3, iPad Air and iPad Air 2 comes with a $50 iTunes Store gift card. You get a $50 gift card with an iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, or, iPhone 6 purchase, too.

Picking up an iPod touch, iPod nano, Apple TV, or Beats headphones and speakers earns you a $25 iTunes Store gift card.

Apple's Black Friday deals may not be as big as some other Apple retailers, but the company is also donating part of today and Monday's sales to the Global Fund to fight AIDS.

One caveat about Apple's gift cards: You can use them for iTunes Store, iBook Store, App Store, and Mac App Store purchases. You can't use them for hardware purchases through Apple's retail stores and online store.
