Apple Builds Mystery Room for Apple Watch Media Event

Apple is building a mystery room off the side of the Yerba Buena Events Center in San Francisco ahead of its March 9 "Spring forward" media event. Apple did the same when it first showed off the Apple Watch last September, which means the room is most likely a demonstration area for the company's new smartwatch again.

Apple sent out invitations last week for the March 9 media event with the tag line "Spring forward." The wording is no doubt a nod to the Day Light Saving time change that will have happened the day before, and also a likely nod to a follow up Apple Watch announcement.

The company is expected to show more Apple Watch features at next week's event, announce official product pricing, show off Apple Watch accessories, and tell the public when the smartwatch will be available to buy. Apple has said the device will be available in April, but hasn't yet offered a more solid time frame.
