If you're headed to Macworld/iWorld 2014 next week and plan on snapping photos with your brand new Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic or Pentax camera, Apple has you covered. The company released Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 5.04 for the Mac on Thursday, adding support for new camera models from all four companies to iPhoto '11 and Aperture 3.
Camera RAW Update lets your Mac download images from more camera models
- Fujifilm X-E2
- Fujifilm X-T1
- Nikon D3300
- Nikon 1 AW1
- Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GM1
- Pentax K-3
The update requires iPhoto '11 9.4.3 or Aperture 3.4.5, and OS X 10.8.5 or OS X 10.9. It's a free download and is available via Apple's Software Update app.
