Apple Expected to Report Record-Breaking Q1 2014 Earnings on Monday, January 27th

Apple StockApple announced this week that it will release its Q1 2014 earnings report on Monday, January 27. Likely to follow the same plan as in previous quarters, expect to see the company release the numbers just after the close of the markets at 4:30 PM EST. Apple will then hold its investor conference call at 5:00 PM EST.

Apple reported its fourth fiscal quarter earnings on October 28th, revealing $7.5 billion in profits on $37.5 billion in revenue, with sales of 14.1 million iPads, 33.8 million iPhones, and 4.6 million Macs. During the call, Apple offered guidance for the Q1 holiday quarter, telling investors to expect revenues between $55 and $58 billion with gross margins of 36.5 to 37.5 percent.

Apple’s guidance, traditionally conservative, is impressive. If the company meets even the low end of revenue estimates, it will make Q1 2014 the best quarter in the company’s history, beating Q1 2013 revenues by about $500 million.

As always, The Mac Observer will have live coverage of the earnings call starting at 5:00 PM EST on Monday, January 27th.
