The iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were officially unveiled at a special media event on Tuesday. The iPhone 5s kept the same form factor as the iPhone 5, but has a faster A7 processor, the new M7 fitness tracking processor, Touch ID fingerprint scanner, and an improved camera. The iPhone 5c has the same specifications as the iPhone 5, but has a plastic back available in several colors.

The iPhone 5s Dock and iPhone 5c Dock are priced at US$29 each and will be available on September 20 when the new iPhone models ship.

So the iPhone 5s dock should work with the iPhone 5, right?

Aftermac

@kevinlane, according to Apple’s website it is compatible with the 5, Though it’s not necessarily compatible with whatever case you may have on your phone.

Kevin, I have several FireWire docks, some with adaptors to USB 30 Pin, not to mention cables. If I get new iPhones for my wife and I, then no more docks. Well maybe two of these for the nightstands, but no portable speaker things that have a dock.
