Apple May Have Accidentally Leaked New 27-inch iMac

Apple first accidentally mentioned a new Mac mini model in its Boot Camp support documents, and may have leaked a 27-inch iMac refresh, too. A chart showing the current 27-inch iMac, along with a model tagged as "Mid 2014," looks like a hint that an update is coming soon.

New 27-inch iMac may have been leaked in Apple support documentThe chart, spotted by Consomac (english translation), has been updated so the new Mac mini and iMac models aren't listed. If only one new Mac had been listed, it would be plausible that someone simply failed with their copy-and-paste skills, but two new Mac models seems like more than a coincidental accident.

The base model 27-inch iMac sports a quad-core Intel Core i5 processor running at 3.2 GHz, a 1 TB hard drive, 8 GB RAM and NVIDIA's GeForce GT 755M video card with 1 GB RAM for US$1,7999. For $1,999 Apple bumps the processor speed up to 3.4 GHz and the video RAM up to 2 GB.

Apple just released updated Retina MacBook Pro models with faster processors and more RAM, leaving just the Mac mini waiting for a refresh this year. Assuming the now pulled chart is accurate, that may be coming soon, along with a refresh for the large screen iMac, too.
