Apple Online Store Adds PayPal as Payment Option

You can now buy your new Mac, iPhone, or iPad through Apple's online store with PayPal, giving shoppers yet another way to spend their money. Apple added the option Wednesday night, bringing its online store inline with the App Store, iTunes Store, and iBooks Store.

PayPal now appears as a standard payment option during the checkout process, just like credit cards and Apple Store gift cards. The change doesn't let shoppers pay directly from their PayPal account for in-store purchases, although buying online for in-store pickup works around that limitation.

It looks like only U.S. and U.K. shoppers can use PayPay for online Apple Store purchases. and there isn't any word on whether or not that will change.
