Apple Ships OS X v.10.8.2 Supplemental Update 1.0

· by · Product News

Mountain Lion UpdateApple has released an update for Mountain Lion that addresses three issues. OS X v10.8.2 Supplemental Update 1.0 includes the following patch notes:

  • Resolves an issue that may cause certain Japanese characters to appear incorrectly in Mail
  • Allows Safari to access secure sites when parental controls are enabled
  • Addresses an issue that may prevent systems with more than 64GB of RAM from starting up.

The update is available through the Mac App Store. Apple has deemed us unworthy of knowing the size of update downloads in Mountain Lion's Mac App Store, which means we can't relay that information to you.

We can tell you, however, that a restart will be required if you want to install it.
