Apple Store Offline Ahead of iPhone Media Event

Apple's online store went offline Wednesday morning and was replaced with the familiar "We'll be back soon" notice ahead of the company's special media event in San Francisco. The event is scheduled to start at 10AM pacific time and the company is expected to introduce its newest iPhone model.

Rumors claim the new iPhone model will have a bigger screen than previous versions, LTE fast wireless data support, a smaller dock connector port, a faster processor, and support for Apple's new nano-SIM card standard.
