Apple's guidance for the quarter has its quarterly revenue coming in between US$33.5 billion and $35.5 billion with gross margins between 27 and 36 percent. Those numbers are below last quarter and the same quarter year-over-year, which is in line with analyst expectations.

The company's big product launch came late in the quarter with the updated MacBook Air model, which was introduced during World Wide Developer Conference along with the redesigned AirPort Extreme Base Station and Time Capsule. Apple also introduced a lower cost iPod touch earlier in the quarter.

Apple also previewed iOS 7 and OS X 10.9 Mavericks, iTunes Radio, and iCloud versions of Pages, Keynote and Numbers.

As always, TMO will be here covering Apple's announcements, so be sure to check in this afternoon to find out how the company performed last quarter and to hear if there are any surprise announcements.

Apple is currently trading in the pre-market at $427.42, up 1.11 (0.26%).
