Apple Addresses Aussie Issue with Apple TV 5.0.2

Apple released Apple TV Software Update 5.0.2 on Tuesday, a release that includes an Australia-specific issue with Parental Controls. The patch notes say simply that the patch, “Addresses an issue which caused content restrictions to be incorrectly applied for the iTunes Store in Australia.”

Users with the second and third generation Apple TV units (the small, black, iOS-based device pictured above) will find the update by navigating to Settings > General on the device, and choosing “Software Update.”
