Apple Adds iCloud Controls to Windows

Along with the official launch of iCloud, Apple released iCloud Control Panel for Windows on Wednesday. The new control panel adds iCloud Photo Stream support along with contact and calendar syncing to Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Contacts and Calendars syncing requires Microsoft Outlook 2007 or newer, and creating a new iCloud account for Windows users is handled through an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS 5.

iCloud Control Panel for Windows is free and available for download at the Apple Support Web site.
