Apple Teases Black Friday Sale

· by · News

Apple confirmed on Monday that it will be hosting a Black Friday sale on November 27. The annual one-day sale typically includes discounts on iPods and Macs, but Apple isn't saying yet what kinds of deals customers can expect.

Black Friday is the day after the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States, and is seen as the day retailers move into profitability with all sales and typically includes big promotional sales.

Apple's online store states "Come back to the Apple Online Store the day after Thanksgiving for a special one-day-only holiday shopping event. You’ll find dozens of great iPod, iPhone, and Mac gift ideas — all with free shipping."

Rumors have been circulating that this year Apple will offer more agressive discounts on Macs and iPods than it has previously. According to Boy Genius Report, Apple will be offering up to 30 percent discounts on iPods, and up to 25 percent off all Macs.

Apple's Black Friday sale specials will be available at the company's retail locations and Web site.
