Apple Director Jerome York Hospitalized, in Critical Condition

Apple Director Jerome York was hospitalized on Wednesday after suffering a burst brain aneurysm, according to the Wall Street Journal. Mr. York was transported to Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan.

An unnamed source at the hospital said that Mr. York was unresponsive and gravely ill.

The 71 year old Mr. York has served as a board member for Apple since 1997, and is also well know for his work in the automotive industry and for helping turn around companies that are failing. He also previously served as IBM’s chief financial officer.

Currently there is no additional information on Mr. York’s condition.
