Apple Finally Promotes Beatles on iTunes in New Commercial

Apple is finally promoting The Beatles music library at the iTunes Store, just over a year after the Fab Four made their first appearance on the music download store. The band’s music library hit the iTunes Store on November 16, 2010, and marked the first time their songs were legitimately available for download.

Apple’s first Beatles promotion included a special webpage and tribute video. Despite complaints that the band’s works were kept out of the download market for so long, and as a result might not sell well, they managed to claim 14 of the iTunes Store’s top 40 album slots on day one.

The ad features “Magical Mystery Tour” and animates the band’s album covers without any voiceovers. It’s available for viewing at the Apple website.
