Apple Gives iPhone Developers iOS 4.1 Beta 3

· by · News

Apple released beta 3 of iOS 4.1 to developers Tuesday night just a week after seeding the second beta of the upcoming iPhone and iPod touch update.

This update seems to cut back on Game Center social networking features for the iPhone 3G and older iPod touch models. Since developers are bound by a nondisclosure agreement, official information about what the beta includes isn’t publicly available.

iOS 4.1 beta 3 is available to registered members of Apple’s Developer Program.

There’s no word from Apple on when iOS 4.1 will be available as a public download.
