Apple Help Slips into the Express Lane

· by · News

Apple launched a new online help system on Tuesday called Express Lane. The Web-based service is designed to help diagnose problems with Apple products and offer potential solutions before contacting AppleCare support.

Express Lane

The Express Lane Web page categorizes issues based on device and problem type, lists troubleshooting suggestions, and offers contact options if additional help is needed. The service also includes an option for tracking support case status, along with a listing of your registered Apple products.

Express Lane services are free for in-warranty products.

I used Express Lane this morning and was very satisfied with the way it worked. I used the “call me back now” feature and was connected almost immediately. The tech was courteous, knowledgeable, and we solved my problem in less than 5 minutes.
