Apple Highlights Versatility in New iPad 2 Ad

Apple released its second iPad 2 commercial, called “If You Asked,” Tuesday night. This new ad targets the device’s versatility, and like the original iPad 2 commercial, takes a more emotional approach to describing what the iPad is.

The iPad 2 ad campaign hasn’t mentioned hardware specifications, doesn’t mention the App Store, and doesn’t even show the Apple logo or iPad name until the end of the commercial. Instead, Apple uses the ad to show how the iPad 2 fits it with user’s lifestyles ranging from students to doctors to company CEOs.

Apple’s “If You Asked” commercial is available in QuickTime format at the company’s Web site.
