Apple Launches iOS 5 Tech Talk World Tour 2011

· by · News

Apple has launched an iOS 5 Tech Talk seminar on a world tour. Attendees can learn all about iOS 5 technologies from Apple experts. Sessions will be held in nine major cities around the world, including Berlin, London, Rome, Beijing, New York, Seattle and others starting November 2.

iOS 5 Tech Talk

According to Apple, all iOS Developer Program members are eligible to register and attend, but preference will be given to those who have their app in the App Store. There is no charge for the event.

The agenda is listed at the Tech Talk World Tour 2011 page. There are multiple, simultaneous sessions to chose from. An FAQ is provided that answers questions like:

  • What’s iOS 5 Tech Talk World Tour 2011 all about?
  • How can I attend a Tech Talk?
  • Can I register for more than one city?
  • Is all content at Tech Talks considered confidential?
  • Will Tech Talk presentations be translated?

Apple has conducted seminars like this before in various cities, open to the public, but this seminar is directed specifically at developers, in essence a WWDC-like roadshow.
