I may be the only regular here on MacObserver who has actually eaten soylent green.

My wife was an extra in the movie. No she wasn’t “furniture”, but one of the hungry citizens in the food riot. She is in a number of frames, they were directed to mill around a lot, but she is hard to spot without going frame to frame. We don’t have a copy of the movie, I guess we should get one, but you can see here in this clip at YouTube.

At minute 1:37 about 1/3 from the left side coming out of the store following the complaining woman.  She is the petite brunet wearing a greenish colored dress and going left to right after coming out of the door. She has a gauze mask over her mouth.

Also at minute 3:16 going through the plate glass window, the woman in the center of the screen on top of the pile of people. Only stuntmen were supposed to go through the window, but she got caught up in the press.

Too bad I can’t take screen shots of movies purchased from the iTunes Store or I would buy a copy from there and put up some JPGs highlighting her.

Anyway getting back to eating soylent green. She brought some of it home, also sone of the soylent yellow and soylent bread. The solent green and yellow were just crackers dyed, or is that “died,” with food coloring.

Here’s the only revolution that I’m looking for in the next version of OS X:

1) Buy CocoaTech’s Pathfinder (or similar technology)
2) Make it the Finder in Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion” (or whatever they call it).

Sir Harry, that is definitely the coolest thing I’ve read today. I’m going to have to rent that movie again just to see the shenanigans.
