Apple's iPad is a 9.7-inch multitouch tablet device that runs iPhone OS, includes Wi-Fi and optional 3G wireless connectivity, plays music and video, and more. It will be available in March starting at US$499.

The iPad special event video is available in QuickTime format in low, medium and high resolutions at the Apple Web site.
