Apple Posts Recording of Tim Cook-Goldman Sachs Interview

· by · News

Apple posted on Wednesday the audio recording of CEO Tim Cook’s interview/speech from the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference. The event took place on Tuesday, and Mr. Cook spoke a variety of issues, including working conditions in China, iPhone unit sales, emerging markets, iPads, and, of course, Apple’s huge cash hoard.

Tim Cook Audio

The audio quality of the recording is quite low, but it’s well worth listening to if you want some insight on Apple’s new CEO. If you can’t listen, however, Philip Elmer-DeWitt and the team at Forbes put together a written transcript of the event. You’ll miss what we considered some of the emotional nuances (and revelations) that way, but there’s a lot of information presented in the transcript.
