Apple Q2 Earnings Report Set for April 22

· by · Apple Stock Watch

Apple will be hosting its second quarter financial results conference call on Wednesday, April 22, at 2PM eastern time.

The company's first fiscal quarter for 2009 was another record breaker, coming in above consensus estimates for revenue and earnings. Wall Street was predicting Apple would report US$9.75 billion in revenue and between $1.29 and $1.39 earning per share. Instead, Apple reported $10.1 billion in revenue and $1.78 EPS.

Looking towards the second quarter, Apple guided lower than consensus estimates -- a common trend for the company. Apple projected it would earn between $0.90 and $1.00 per share on revenue of $7.6 to $8 billion. Wall Street has been estimating $1.13 EPS and $8.2 billion in revenue.
