Apple Q3 Earnings Report Set for July 19

Apple will be hosting its 2011 third fiscal quarter earnings conference call on Tuesday, July 19. The event will start at 5pm eastern time after the stock market closes for the day.

Analysts such as Charlie Wolf from Needham are expecting strong iPad sales for the quarter. Mr. Wolf even raised his tablet sales estimate from 7.5 million units up to 9 million.

He said that Apple’s competitors in the tablet market have “fallen woefully short in matching its features, ease-of-use and the number of applications written for the device.”

iPad sales for the quarter had BETTER be strong.  It’s tough to sell any more than “all of them.”
