Apple released Bluetooth Firmware Update 2.0 for some of its Mac product line Wednesday, an update that improves compatibility with Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse and Apple Wireless Keyboard.
The patch notes stipulated it was for all Mac systems with Bluetooth based on the Broadcom chipset. So far, TMO's staff has seen it show up for several MacBook Pro models, while Mac Pro (January 2008) do not see the update in Software Update.
The download is a 1.6MB download, and no reboot is required. As of this writing, the update has not appeared on Apple's Downloads page.
