Apple Releases Cards App via the iOS App Store

· by · Product News

Cards, the iOS app that was jokingly referred to as the “highlight” of last week’s iPhone event, has been released by Apple and is available from the App Store now.

 Cards App

The free app allows iOS users to create cards directly on their devices, including customized pictures and text, and order physical copies of those cards to be directly mailed to the individuals in the user’s contacts list.

Cards can be mailed both in the United States ($2.99 per card) and internationally ($4.99 per card).

The app launches with 21 designs spanning six categories: Thank You, Holiday, New Baby, Birthday, Love, and Travel.

Cards requires the newly-released iOS 5. More information can be found at Apple’s website for the app.
