Apple Releases Graphics Update for Brand New MacBook Pro

· by · News

Apple released MacBook Pro Software Update 1.3 on Wednesday, only a day after shipping the laptops the update targets. The update for the new 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro improved graphics stability when playing games or using applications that require high-performance video performance.

Apple’s notes on exactly what’s included in the update are slim, but they do also state that “various bug fixes” are rolled in, too.

MacBook Pro Software Update 1.3 requires a 15 or 17-inch MacBook Pro model from the April 13 product update, and is available for download at the Apple Support Web site.
