Apple Releases HP Printer Software 2.8 for Snow Leopard, Lion

HP Printer Software Update 2.8Apple released HP Printer Software Update 2.8 on Thursday. The update for Snow Leopard and Lion includes, according to Apple’s slim release notes, “the latest software for your HP printer or scanner.”

The HP printer software update requires OS X 10.6 or higher, or OS X Lion. Like other Apple software updates, the printer driver update is free and available via the Software Update application.
