Apple Releases iPhone Configuration Utility 3.1

Apple released iPhone Configuration Utility 3.1 for Mac OS X Wednesday, an update that brings the software up to date with iOS 4.1, which was released earlier in the day. iPhone Configuration Utility (iPCU) allows system administrators to create, install, and manage configuration profiles for iPhones for use in corporate environments.

Apple’s patch notes:

iPCU version 3.1 adds support for new Mobile Device Management (MDM) features introduced in iOS 4 and enables wireless delivery of configuration profiles. It also includes support for Cisco AnyConnect and Juniper Networks SSL VPN clients, CardDAV, multiple Exchange accounts and SAN support using Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP).

You can download iPCU 3.1 from Apple’s Web site. It is a 9.94MB download.
