· by · Product News

Apple followed up its morning introduction of the Magic Trackpad with its Magic Trackpad and Multi-Touch Trackpad Update 1.0 on Tuesday afternoon.

The update requires Mac OS X 10.6.4 and enables Magic Trackpad support on Intel-based Macs. It also adds inertial scrolling and three-finger drag gesture support to recent MacBook Pro and MacBook models.

Magic TrackPad and Multi-Touch Trackpad Update 1.0 is free and available for download at Apple’s Support Web site, or via the Software Update application for users that have already paired a Magic Trackpad with their Mac.

32-bit and 64-bit versions for Windows XP and higher are available as well as downloads from Apple’s Support Web site.
