Apple Releases ProKit 5.0 for Final Cut, Logic Upgrades

Apple released ProKit Update 5.0 Thursday, an update that accompanies Final Cut Pro and Logic upgrades released earlier on Thursday.

The patch notes said, "This update improves general user interface reliability for Apple's professional applications and is recommended for all users of Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Server, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Aperture, Final Cut Express HD, Soundtrack, Logic Pro and Logic Express."

The update is a 19.2MB download, and is available through Software Update in Mac OS X.
