Apple Rolls Out New Mac Campaign

Apple revamped its campaign geared at promoting its Macintosh computers on Friday with “Why you’ll love a Mac.” The new campaign brings to an end the popular “Get a Mac” campaign with John Hodgmann playing a PC to Justin Long’s Mac character.

The new “Why you’ll love a Mac” campaign highlights Mac features such as hardware design, Mac applications, cross-platform file compatibility, the lack of Mac OS X viruses, and Apple’s online and Genius Bar tech support.

Apple’s “Get a Mac” Web page redirects to the new “Why you’ll love a Mac” page showing a MacBook Pro and iMac. Apple hasn’t released any commercials or print ads yet to go along with the new campaign, but there’s a good chance some will crop up soon.
