Apple will be hosting its second fiscal quarter earnings report conference call on Tuesday, April 24, at 5PM eastern time. This will mark the first quarter with third generation iPad sales, so analysts and investors will be paying close attention to the company’s numbers.

Apple introduced the third generation iPad with Retina Display during its second fiscal quarter. The multimedia tablet was available on launch day in several countries, and quickly expanded to over 20 countries.
iPhone sales are still going strong and Canaccord Genuity analyst Michael Walkley said the combination iPod and smartphone is outselling the Android-based competition at AT&T and Sprint, and matching Verizon’s total Android device sales.
