Apple’s stock was sitting at US$618.63 when the market closed on Monday, setting the Mac, iPhone and iPad maker at a new record high. The company’s shares continued to climb during pre-market trading on Tuesday morning, too.
Apple stock hits another closing high
Setting new closing records has become something of a routine for Apple’s stock. The company previously set new closing highs on March 19 with $601.10, and on March 26 when it hit $614.48.
The 19th was also the same day Apple CEO Tim Cook announced a quarterly dividend and share buyback program.
Apple’s stock is currently sitting at $626.70 in pre-market trading, up 8.07 (1.30%).
