Apple Store Offline Ahead of WWDC 2009

· by · WWDC

Apple's online store went offline Monday morning and was replaced with the familiar "We'll be back soon" notice ahead of the company's keynote presentation at the World Wide Developer Conference. The familiar notice usually indicates that new product announcements are on the way, and many are expecting new iPhone models, iPhone Software 3.0 and even Mac OS X 10.6.

Apple has done its part to help stoke the fires in the rumor mills by releasing iTunes 8.2, temporarily taking MobileMe services offline for maintenance, and upgrading the entry-level white MacBook all in recent days.

The WWDC keynote presentation is scheduled to start at 10AM pacific time at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Be sure to check back with TMO for our live WWDC keynote coverage, and follow our event coverage on Twitter at MacObserverLive and MacObserver.

TMO will also offer additional WWDC event coverage throughout the week.
