Apple's online retail Web site went offline Tuesday morning, leading to speculation that the company is about to introduce updated versions of its MacBook Pro lineup.
Recent rumors have been pointing to the release of MacBook Pro models sporting Intel's new i5 or i7 processors. If so, the new laptops would likely offer substantial performance improvements and longer battery life compared to the current models.

I wonder if this afternoon we will be reading stories such as this:
“Apple surprised the tech world by shipping the iPad over a month early. Even more surprising is that the iPad has both front and rear facing cameras, an HDMI port, and is Flash enabled. AAPL stock dropped on the news that the new iPads will be $50.00 cheaper than originally announced.”
Anyway, I have money set aside for both a new MacBook for me and an iPad for my wife.
