Apple will be hosting its second fiscal quarter earnings report conference call Tuesday afternoon at 5PM eastern time. This will mark the first quarter with third generation iPad sales, so analysts and investors will be paying close attention to the company’s numbers.
Analysts expect more big numbers from Apple this afternoon
Apple introduced the third generation iPad with Retina Display during its second fiscal quarter and reported over three million units sold during the first three days after launch. The multimedia tablet was available on launch day in several countries, and quickly expanded to over 20 countries.
Analysts are expecting Apple to report strong numbers for iPad sales, although some analysts are expecting slightly lower iPhone sales compared to last quarter.
