Apple on Thursday released version 3.0.2 of its Apple TV firmware, an update that offers minor user interface tweaks to increase text readability, according to AppleInsider and other web sites. The update is also apparently tied to this week’s release of Aperture 3.0, given the changes in that application’s image sharing over a local network.
In addition, AppleInsider reported that some of its readers said “their Apple TV has stopped experiencing problems related to switching its HDMI output cable” since applying the update. More information was not available on Apple’s support site, which as of this writing lists version 3.0.1 on the Apple TV page.
