· by · Product News

Apple updated AirPort Tuesday with AirPort Client Update 2009-002, an update specifically aimed at fixing issues with Mac OS X 10.6.2, the latest version of Snow Leopard as of this writing. From the patch notes, those three main issues are:

  • Inability to turn AirPort on or off in some cases after upgrading from Mac OS X Leopard
  • An occasional loss of network connection when using Wake on Demand
  • Inability to create a computer-to-computer network, or share the Internet connection on some MacBook, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini computers

The update is a 12.95MB download from Apple's support site, though in Software Update it shows up as a 13.3MB download.
